Longest Reign Without a Government – Belgium holds the world record for going 541 days without a government (2010-2011) due to political deadlocks.
Saxophone Was Invented by a Belgian – The saxophone was invented by Adolphe Sax, a Belgian musician, in 1846.
Has an Annual Bathtub Race – The city of Dinant hosts a bathtub race, where people race down the river in decorated bathtubs! 🚣♂️🛁
Hosted the most ridiculous war: During the Middle Ages, two towns started to quarrel because a farmer from one town stole a cow from the other town. Things escaladed so quickly that it resulted in total war. 10,000+ people died, and the king of France had to personally settle the matter. For a f****** cow!!
