UCLouvain's OpenHub invites you to take part in Student Labs, an initiative that connects Belgian technology companies with graduating students from all over the world.
These young talents will put their skills to work on your projects, while benefiting from the expert support of our multi-disciplinary team.
Why participate?
- Boost your projects: Take advantage of additional resources to test prototypes or validate innovative concepts, whether software, complex hardware prototypes or others, even if you have a limited budget or staff.

- Access unique resources: Use OpenHub's state-of-the-art infrastructure and benefit from cutting-edge expertise in fields as diverse as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), mechanical manufacturing and connected objects.
How it works
To submit a project, propose your ideas via an online form or by contacting an OpenHub member.
The projects, lasting from a few weeks to three months, are entrusted to teams of 2 to 5 students supervised by the OpenHub, with follow-up tailored to needs.
At the end, a validated report is provided, with the option of establishing an NDA to protect your data.
Practical details
- Location: Projects are mainly conducted face-to-face at OpenHub (UCLouvain). However, students can come to your premises if the project requires it.
- Flexibility: Modalities can be adapted to suit your needs, including providing specific tools or environments for students.
- Possible continuity: If necessary, complex projects can be extended beyond the Student Lab, with the support of the OpenHub team.
- Rates: Our rates are in line with the standard rates for student jobs in Belgium.
